Kristina competed today at the NCAA Championships during the individual vault and uneven bars finals. She started on vault with a clean Yurchenko full. She then fell on her 2nd vault. She finished 9th with average score of 9.450. On uneven bars, Kristina did an awesome job. where she scored 9.9. She tied for 2nd place with Georgia's Katie Heenan. Good job Kristina! Congratulations to Tasha Schwikert (1st UB, 2nd FX) and Anna Li finished 15th on uneven bars.

The UCLA Bruins finished 4th during the evening team preliminary session last night. They did not advance to the super six finals. Kristina did extremely well, where she finished 4th on vault and uneven bars with a 9.9. She qualified to both event finals. The competition will be tomorrow at 6:00 pm ET. Good job Kristina! Kristina's teammate Anna Li qualified to uneven bars finals and Tasha Schwikert qualified to vault, uneven bars, and floor exercise finals. Also, congratulations to Tasha, where she won the all-around title!

Kristina and her UCLA teammates are in Athens, GA for the NCAA Championships this weekend. The first day of competition will begin on Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 pm ET in the evening team preliminary session. The UCLA Bruins will be competing with Georgia, Stanford, Utah, Michigan, and Denver. Live scoring and streaming video will be available on GeorgiaDogs.Com. The meet will be televised by CBS on May 10 from 12-2.

Kristina's biography page has been updated. We added many new Pictures to 2008 Regionals, 2008 Alabama, Arkansas, CSUF, 2008 Utah, 2008 Stanford, and 2008 CSUF, BU, WEC. We also posted four new videos: 2008 Georgia UB/BB, 2008 Alabama, Arkansas, CSUF UB, and 2008 Stanford VT.

The UCLA Bruins placed 2nd with a 196.625 today at the NCAA Regionals in Florida. That means UCLA qualified to the NCAA National Championships along with the first-place Florida! Kristina placed 6th on vault (9.875), 3rd on uneven bars (9.900). and tied for 1st place on balance beam (9.875). Good job Kristina!

Today, the UCLA Bruins traveled to Seattle, Washington to compete in the Pac-10 Championships with Stanford, Oregon State, Arizona, California, Washington, and Arizona State. UCLA (196.200) placed third right behind Stanford (197.000) and Oregon State (196.550). Kristina started on vault with a clean routine scoring 9.850. She placed third on that event. She then placed 13th on uneven bars with a 9.825. Kristina rocked on balance beam after scoring a huge 9.9 for a fourth place. Good job Kristina!

Last weekend, the UCLA Bruins traveled to Georgia. The team posted its new season-high but still lost to Georgia, 196.925-197.900. Kristina did all events but floor. She placed 7th on vault scoring 9.850, 8th on uneven bars with a 9.775, and she then scored 9.9 on balance beam for a third place. Good job Kristina!

The UCLA Bruins hosted a 4-way meet with Arkansas, Alabama, and Cal State Fullerton yesterday. UCLA finished third with a 195.800 with Arkansas first and Alabama second. Kristina competed on vault and uneven bars. She placed 10th on vault scoring 9.850 and 16th on uneven bars scoring 9.700.

This past weekend, UCLA defeated Oregon State, 196.775-195.950. Kristina placed 3rd on vault and uneven bars scoring 9.9 on both events. The UCLA Bruins will have their last home game on next Sunday, March 9 against Alabama, Arkansas, and Cal State Fullerton.

Last Sunday, UCLA lost to Utah, 195.825-197.450. Kristina competed on uneven bars where she placed 6th scoring 9.825. We will post a video from the meet soon. The UCLA Bruins will compete again next Sunday, March 2 against Oregon State at 2 PM.

The UCLA Bruins defeated University of Arizona, 196.575 to 196.050 last night at the McKale Center. Kristina did an exhibition on uneven bars. The UCLA Bruins will host No. 2 Utah tomorrow at 2 PM. Good luck Bruins!

Last weekend, the UCLA Bruins defeated California, 195.225 - 189.425. UCLA will travel to Arizona to compete in a dual meet with No. 17 Arizona on Friday, February 22 at 7:30 PM MT. They then will host No. 2 Utah on Sunday, February 24 at 2:00 PM PT. There will be a free live video broadcast of UCLA vs Utah on UCLA All-Access. Four new videos have been added today: 2008 UCLA vs Stanford, 2006 PAC-10 Championships, and UCLA vs Cal State Fullerton.

The UCLA gymnastics team traveled to Chicago, Illinois to compete in the IGI Chicago Style Invitational. UCLA posted its new season best 196.875 and placed 1st ahead of Stanford, University of Illinois, and Washington. Good job Bruins! You can see the view results on the UCLA website. UCLA's next meet will be next Sunday, February 17th against California.

UCLA is still undefeated (7-0) after they beat Washington last night, 195.975 to 194.425. Next weekend, the UCLA Bruins will travel to Chicago, Illinois to compete in an invitational, IGI Chicago Style Meet. Washington and Stanford will be there as well.

Great news, Kristina's injury is not as bad as it looked. After an x-ray and an MRI, there are no torn ligaments, just a few of huge bone bruises. Kristina will be ready to compete as soon as she can. Get well Kristina!

The UCLA Bruins hosted Stanford yesterday afternoon. It was very close meet where UCLA edged Stanford by .025, 195.050-195.025. Kristina did extremely well, placing 2nd on vault, 8th on uneven bars, and 1st on balance beam. Unfortunately, on the last event, floor exercise, Kristina injured her knee on her first tumbling pass, a front double full. She will have an MRI later today. We will keep you posted about Kristina's injury. results have been added from the meet.

Yesterday, the UCLA gymnastics team traveled to Fullerton, California to compete in a four-way meet with Cal State Fullerton, Brown University, and Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Bruins placed 1st scoring a new season-high 196.125. Kristina finished 3rd in the all-around and placed 1st uneven bars. She also placed 9th on vault, 4th on balance beam, and 6th on floor exercise. Full results have been posted. Good job Kristina and the Bruins! Photos from the meet will be coming soon.

Happy New Year! Kristina's layout has been updated a little bit with new pictures. Kristina had her first meet of the year tonight at Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas, Nevada. She did really well, placing 5th in the all-around and placed 1st on vault with a huge score of 9.925. She also tied for 4th on balance beam and third on floor exercise. The team won the competition ahead of Oregon State and Arizona State. Results have been posted from the meet. Kristina's 2008 schedule has been posted as well. Be sure to check it out and mark your calender so you can come and watch Kristina and the Bruins!
