Hello Everyone,

Well as you all probably know I decided not to go the selection camp. After I arrived at school, I had an MRI done on my foot (my left foot that has been bothering me for a couple of years). When I met with the doctor he told me that one of my ligaments was torn. I went back and forth a lot on whether I wanted to take the risk of getting injured even worse by training full force for camp. We ( me, Miss Val, and my family) decided that it would be best for me to stay at school and get healthy for this upcoming season. Deep down I really didn't want to give up my freshman year of college.

Other than that everything is great. We just started school last week. I was really nervous, but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's nice because we don't have the same class everyday like in high school. So, as of now school is going really well.

I love all my teammates. We are already like a family, and we have only been here for a month. Especially since half of our team are freshman. It has been so fun to train with all the girls, and becoming such good friends. The twins and I have been asked about 8 times by several different people if were sisters, twins, or triplets. I really don't see it because we don't look anything alike, but I definitely take it as a compliment!

The coaches are great! I love all of them. I love going into the gym every day, because we always have so much fun together during training. Training is actually a lot harder than I expected. Especially the conditioning. Pre-season was soooooo hard! We had beach days, swimming, track workouts, weights, plus training. It was a lot of hard work, but I felt really good afterward.

All the other athletes have been great as well. It is so much fun going to all the other sports games. The only ones we have really been able to attend right now are the football games, and soccer games. Both are very good! The best game so far was the UCLA vs OU game. All of our team got all dressed up for the game, and we all had a blast. Of course it helped that we beat them!!!! WOO HOO! I am really looking forward to the USC game. Hopefully we will win this year! So good luck to all of them for their upcoming games.

Well, that is pretty much it for now. I can't wait to start competing this year. I hope everyone is doing well!

Love,
Kristina
